Our origins
From Varnashala
to Art by Layam.
Art by Layam evolved from Layam Varnashala, an art studio established in 1982. That foundation continues to shape how we approach art: with respect for its meaning, attention to its material and care for the people behind it.
Today, we provide services across the lifecycle of an artwork, from technical development and fabrication to installation, handling, logistics and project communication.
We work with artists, collectors, galleries and cultural institutions across Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and India. Our role is to connect artistic intent with the practical expertise needed to realise it.
